Where You Stand With Us
Backed by careful quality control and a low return rate, we stand behind our timepieces. Below, every term set out plainly — fair to you, and fair to us.
Three Protections
What is covered, what it costs, and how it is resolved.
7-Day Arrival Cover
If your piece arrives damaged or defective on arrival, we arrange a replacement once verified.
- Covers: factory defects evident on unboxing.
- Cost: we cover return and replacement shipping.
- Outcome: a new replacement is issued.
1-Year Movement Warranty
A one-year guarantee on the internal mechanical movement.
- Covers: abnormal timing deviation (beyond ±30s/day), winding failure, or calendar faults.
- Cost: repair and parts complimentary. You cover inbound shipping; we cover the return.
7-Day Return
Returns of non-defective pieces are accepted within 7 days of verified delivery.
- Condition: unworn, with all factory films and seals intact.
- Cost: you cover inbound return shipping.
- See the condition clause below regarding removed films.
On Arrival — Please Inspect
A simple step that protects you, and settles any question quickly.
The Unboxing Record
We warmly recommend filming a continuous, unedited unboxing video — beginning before the parcel is opened. It is the clearest possible record, and the simplest way for us to resolve any claim of damage, defect, or a missing item swiftly and in your favour.
Any issue on arrival — damage, defect, or shortage — should be reported within 72 hours of delivery. After this window, the order is taken as received in good order. An unboxing video is the strongest support for any such report.
What to Expect
A clear understanding of the piece you are receiving — set out before you order.
Considered a Reproduction
Each piece is a finely made reproduction. Minor batch-to-batch variation — in lume tone, dial printing, or finishing — is part of the craft and is not a defect.
Your QC Approval
Before dispatch, we send QC photographs and video for your approval. Once approved and shipped, that appearance is taken as accepted, and is not grounds for a later return.
Sizing & Fit
Pieces are made to 1:1 specifications. Sizing based on a measurement you provide is not a defect. For rubber straps, confirm your wrist size with us before ordering.
If a Replacement Is Needed
Replacements are the same reference. Should a reference be discontinued, we will agree an alternative of equal standing with you directly.
Return & Refund Procedure
A secure, even-handed process — the same for both sides.
- I Inspection before resolution. For any return or exchange, the piece must be returned with valid tracking. We do not refund or send a replacement in advance — returned items are first received and inspected at our facility before anything is authorised.
- II Condition adjustment, by agreement. If you return a non-defective piece for personal reasons but the factory films have been removed or there are signs of handling, the return requires approval. Where accepted, a condition and restocking adjustment of 20% to 40% of the purchase price applies — a piece without its films cannot be presented as new. The exact rate is assessed and confirmed to you before any deduction, and you are free to accept it or have the piece returned to you. This adjustment is waived entirely for verified defects.
- III Refund route and timing. Approved refunds are issued only to the original payment method (a bank-wire order is refunded by bank wire to the originating account). After inspection and initiation, please allow 1 to 5 business days for funds to clear.
What the Warranty Does Not Cover
As with an authentic boutique, the movement warranty does not extend to wear or external damage.
Outside the Warranty
The one-year warranty covers the internal movement only. The following sit outside it:
- External parts: the crown, pushers, bezel, crystal, bracelet, or clasp — where affected by impact, snagging, or daily wear.
- Water: resistant to everyday hand-washing, but swimming, diving, or showering falls outside cover. Internal fogging indicates the crown was not fully sealed in use.
- Accidental damage: a drop resulting in a cracked crystal, detached markers, or a disturbed movement.
- Unauthorised work: opening the case back yourself, or using an outside watchmaker, ends warranty cover.
Service, for as Long as You Own It
Beyond the Warranty
Has the cover period passed, or an accident affected the crystal? We remain at your service long after the first acquisition.
For out-of-warranty repairs, accidental damage, or general maintenance, we offer our clients access to our watchmakers at component cost — you pay only for the part and its shipping, with labour charges waived for established clients.
On timing: repair duration varies with the piece and the availability of parts, and includes cross-border shipping. Your advisor will give you a considered estimate once the piece has been assessed.
On Delivery & Receipt
Where tracking shows a parcel successfully delivered, it is taken as received. If this does not match your experience, please contact us within 48 hours of the delivery showing, and we will open an enquiry with the carrier on your behalf.
“We do not claim our pieces match an original in water resistance or hard-wearing performance. They are finely made reproductions — worn with that understanding, they will serve you well for years.”
