NEW FACTORY V5 Edition — Natural White Rubber Strap
NEW FACTORY has set the current benchmark for the Richard Mille RM 055 “Bubba Watson” with its V5 upgrade. This edition eliminates the sandwich-plate construction of previous factory generations entirely, replacing it with a true integrated RMUL2 skeleton architecture that faithfully reproduces the spatial depth of the genuine caliber. The result is a piece that holds up to close scrutiny in a way earlier iterations simply could not.
Powered by the re-engineered RMUL2 integrated manual-winding clone caliber, the movement features a twin spring barrel with a clearly visible, freely oscillating balance wheel — a decisive departure from the static decorative plates that defined earlier clone attempts. Power reserve is approximately 36 hours, consistent with the mechanical constraints of this highly skeletonized architecture.
The white ceramic case corners have been corrected in the V5 to align fully with genuine proportions, while the caseback surface treatment has been updated to an accurate matte finish. Dimensions measure 49.90 × 42.70mm with a 13.5mm profile. The natural rubber strap is fitted with the latest-version OEM-correct fold-over deployant clasp, replacing the spring-bar deployant used in earlier factory runs.
