VSF Omega Aqua Terra Turquoise 220.32.41.21.03.001: Fumé Dial, Black Ceramic Bezel & Full Buyer FAQ

Published 2026 · NewCloneWatches.com · Based on independent review and inspection

The turquoise fumé dial Aqua Terra is the most striking AT configuration Omega has produced in years — and VSF is the only factory producing it in super clone form. The black ceramic bezel update of August 2025 transformed the already striking dial into a genuinely sporting package. The dial colour correction from V1 seals it: this is the version worth buying.

VSF Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Ref. 220.32.41.21.03.001 — turquoise fumé dial, black ceramic bezel with radial brushing, rubber strap with turquoise stitching.

The Aqua Terra — Between the Deck and the Deep

Launched by Omega in 2002, the Seamaster Aqua Terra was built to fill a specific gap: a watch equally at home on a sailing deck and in a boardroom. Too elegant for a dive watch, too robust for a pure dress piece — the name says it directly, Aqua (water) and Terra (land). The teak deck lines running across early dials, the absence of crown guards, and the slimmer case profile all contributed to a watch that felt different from the Diver 300M despite sharing Seamaster DNA.

This review focuses on one of the newest AT releases — the turquoise dial configuration originally released December 2024 with a fumé finish and stainless steel bracelet, then updated in August 2025 with a brushed black ceramic bezel and rubber strap that give it a significantly sportier character. VSF is currently the only factory producing any turquoise dial Aqua Terra in super clone form.

The previous V1 carried a dial colour that missed the target — too little green, not enough turquoise presence. VSF has since silently corrected the dial without a formal V2 announcement. The result, covered in this review, is now substantially closer to the genuine.

Case, Dimensions & Finishing

VSF-Aqua-Terra-case-mid-section-mirror-finish-super-clone

Mid-case: mirror sheen across all surfaces. The absence of crown guards is intentional — the Terra design language.

VSF-Aqua-Terra-case-side-profile-super-clone

Case side profile. 13.5mm height is close to the genuine’s 13.26mm.

The case registers 40.8mm in diameter — within 0.2mm of the genuine’s 41mm. Lug-to-lug measures 47.2mm against the genuine’s 47.91mm. The weight comes in at 109 grams, marginally above the genuine’s ~106g. VSF’s machining is described in the review as “almost perfect” — the mid-case is finished to a high standard with a lustrous mirror sheen throughout.

One of the Aqua Terra’s defining design choices is the absence of crown guards. Where the Diver 300M has prominent protective lugs flanking the crown, the AT leaves it exposed — a deliberate choice reflecting the Terra side of the watch’s identity: it is dressed for the yacht deck, not the reef.

The Black Ceramic Bezel

Black ceramic bezel with radial brushing. Appears matte in flat light but catches subtle direction at angle.

Bezel-to-case interface. The ceramic meets the turquoise dial colouring.

The August 2025 update introduced a brushed black ceramic bezel — the modification that defines this version. The ceramic is radially brushed: it appears fully matte at first glance but reveals the directional brushing subtly when caught at angle. This is the correct finish for black ceramic — not a flat black PVD approximation. The reviewer notes that the black bezel was “crying out” as an alternative from the beginning, meeting and blending with the fumé dial naturally.

Dial & Hands — The Corrected Turquoise

VSF-Omega-Aqua-Terra-turquoise-fume-dial-DLC-markers-super-clone

Turquoise fumé dial: updated colour is now substantially closer to the genuine. The fumé gradient starts darker at the edge and opens into turquoise at the centre. Applied trapezoidal DLC markers frame the dial.

The V1 Problem and Silent Correction

The original V1 dial was the watch’s primary weakness: the turquoise was too muted, with little to no green visible. The fumé gradation from edge to centre was too subtle. VSF appears to have corrected this without a formal V2 announcement — the colour of current production is substantially closer to the genuine. The fumé edge starting point is now darker, making the gradient more pronounced and more accurate.

Dial centre: Omega logo and name applied above the printed Seamaster script, all in black. The simplified palette keeps the colourful dial from becoming busy.

Date font: crisp and raised. May read marginally thicker than the genuine under direct comparison.

Applied Markers & Hands

Faceted DLC hands with brushed and polished contrasting surfaces. No visible rough edges on the bevel.

Hands and markers in detail. The trapezoidal hour markers pull focus inward — the AT’s signature layout.

The applied trapezoidal hour markers are finished in brushed and polished DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon coating) — the same specification as the date window surround. This is the Aqua Terra’s signature dial feature: the widening markers that draw the eye to the centre of the dial. The hands are faceted to match, with contrasting brushed and polished surfaces, and machined with no visible rough edges on the bevels.

Luminescence

Lume in darkness: white SuperLuminova charges quickly and glows a striking ice blue.

The hands and hour markers are filled with white SuperLuminova that charges quickly and emits a striking ice-blue glow in darkness. The reviewer notes excellent legibility: hands and markers appear near-black in low light conditions, reflecting to a light grey-silver in well-lit environments. The dual-state legibility is one of the watch’s practical strengths.

Movement & Functions

VSF-Aqua-Terra-DD8500-movement-clone-caseback-super-clone

Movement caseback: DD8500/8900 clone of the genuine Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Cal. 8900. Winding and time-setting are smooth.

The Aqua Terra runs the DD8500/8900 — VSF’s Dandong clone of the genuine Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8900. The genuine Cal. 8900 powers the AT lineup and differs from the Diver’s 8800 in several internal specifications; the DD8500/8900 replicates the correct caliber designation for this reference.

Winding is described as very smooth, as is time-setting. The movement functions identically to the genuine in operation — no quick-set date (the AT’s jumping-hour date mechanism is more deliberate):

Position 1

Strap, Clasp & Wrist Feel

VSF-Aqua-Terra-rubber-strap-turquoise-stitching-clasp-super-clone

Rubber strap with turquoise stitching matched to the dial. Clasp: machined, sharp engravings, sturdy closure. The integrated design sits flush with the case, pulling almost straight down.

The rubber strap is accented with turquoise stitching matched to the dial colour — a considered detail that ties the strap into the watch rather than treating it as a separate afterthought. The material quality is soft and supple, fitting the wrist well. The reviewer specifically notes an improvement in replica rubber quality, and this strap is cited as an example.

The clasp is machined and finished to a high standard with sharp, clear engravings. It closes with a sturdy, secure feel.

How It Wears

VSF-Aqua-Terra-turquoise-wrist-shot-lifestyle-super-clone

On the wrist: the integrated strap design pulls almost straight down, minimising overhang even on smaller wrists. The watch wears smaller than the 41mm case diameter and 47.2mm lug-to-lug suggest.

One of this model’s practical strengths is how it wears. Despite the 41mm case and 47.2mm lug-to-lug, the integrated rubber strap does not flare outward from the case — it pulls almost straight down the wrist. This geometry means the watch sits compactly even on smaller wrists with minimal to no overhang. VSF also produces the Aqua Terra in a 38mm variant for those who prefer a genuinely compact case.

Buyer FAQ — VSF Aqua Terra Turquoise

Why is this specific AT the only version worth considering right now?

VSF is currently the only factory producing any turquoise dial Aqua Terra in super clone form — there is no direct competitor. Beyond market position, the updated dial colour is substantially closer to the genuine. The V1’s error (muted turquoise, little visible green) has been corrected without a formal announcement. If you want this reference, VSF is the only and correct choice.

What is the fumé dial and why does it matter for this reference?

A fumé dial uses a gradient finish that transitions from a darker tone at the outer edge to a lighter, more vivid colour at the centre. On this reference, the edge is a deep teal-green, opening to brighter turquoise in the middle. The V1’s error was a fumé gradient too subtle to be visible — it read as a flat turquoise. The corrected version has a darker edge starting point that makes the gradient pronounced and accurate to the genuine.

How does the Aqua Terra wear versus a Diver 300M?

The AT is thinner (13.26mm gen vs the Diver’s bulkier case), has no crown guards, and carries polished rather than a combination of brushed surfaces. On the wrist it reads as a refined, slightly formal piece versus the Diver’s utilitarian tool-watch character. The integrated strap design minimises wrist overhang despite the 47mm+ lug-to-lug.

What is the DD8500/8900 and how does it compare to the genuine Cal. 8900?

The DD8500/8900 is VSF’s Dandong clone of the genuine Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Cal. 8900. The genuine Cal. 8900 is Omega’s flagship automatic movement, featuring a free-sprung silicon hairspring and the highest level of magnetic resistance in its class. The clone replicates the visual architecture and operational behaviour — same crown position logic, same smooth winding — without the genuine’s in-house certification. For daily-wear purposes, the DD8500/8900 is the correct and competent choice.

The review mentions 38mm is not yet available. When might that change?

VSF has announced the 38mm AT variant, and the reviewer expresses hope it will be produced. Timeline is unknown. If wrist size is a primary consideration, the 41mm wears smaller than the lug-to-lug suggests due to the integrated strap geometry — but the 38mm remains the better architectural fit for wrists under 16cm.

Conclusion

The VSF Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra turquoise dial is the watch the reference demanded — not the V1 compromise, but the corrected version with the right colour and the right bezel. The August 2025 update brought the black ceramic bezel that the fumé dial was always calling for.

VSF holds this reference exclusively and has addressed its only significant early flaw. The dimensions are within measurement tolerance of the genuine, the DLC markers are executed well, the turquoise rubber strap is a coherent match to the dial, and the DD8500/8900 delivers appropriate movement performance. At 90–95% of the genuine’s visual experience at a fraction of the cost, this is the reviewer’s own verdict — and ours.
