This is not a modified Miyota 9015. This is 3KF’s proprietary “Super Clone” movement, reverse-engineered to match the genuine Patek Caliber 324 S C dimensions exactly. This allows for the correct case thickness (approx 8.3mm) and proper crown stem height.
We believe in total transparency. Recently, Patek Philippe updated the genuine 5167A to the newer Caliber 330 (which allows the seconds hand to stop/hack). However, the replica industry (including 3KF/PPF) currently ONLY produces the Super Clone 324 movement.

PPF uses a decorated Miyota movement which requires a thicker case back and thicker overall profile. For the Aquanaut 5167, the “thinness” is the primary luxury characteristic, and 3KF nails this best.
Full Disclosure: The 3KF rotor can be slightly audible in a dead-silent room (a “whirring” sound), which is standard for this clone movement type, whereas the genuine gold rotor is silent.

A: Out of the box, it is sealed for basic daily use (hand washing/rain). However, the Aquanaut is a sports watch; if you plan to swim, we strongly recommend a professional pressure test and greasing of the gaskets.
Q: How does the Super Clone 324 compare to the Genuine?
A: It is visually nearly identical, including the positioning of the balance wheel and the engraving. It offers a 35-45 hour power reserve. Note that like the genuine 324, this movement does not “hack” (seconds hand keeps moving while setting time).
Q: Can I swap the steel bracelet for a rubber strap later?
A: Yes, the case lugs are identical to the strap version. You can purchase a high-quality FKM rubber strap separately and swap them, giving you two looks for one watch.
