This is not a decorated 7750. APS has achieved a milestone in horological replication by cloning the integrated architecture of the Audemars Piguet Calibre 4401. This allows for the correct sub-dial spacing and, crucially, the correct case thickness.
Solid 316L Stainless Steel. Because the movement is a custom clone and not a modified ETA, the case thickness matches the genuine specification exactly.
Features the “Grande Tapisserie” pattern. The date window is correctly positioned at the edge of the dial, a feat only possible with the 4401 clone.

Full Disclosure: The rotor on the APS 4401 can be slightly audible in a dead-silent room compared to the genuine gold rotor, but this is standard for steel-bearing clone movements.

A: Out of the box, it is sealed for basic daily use (splash/rain proof). However, as this is a complex chronograph with pushers, we strongly recommend a professional pressure test before swimming.
Q: How does the Calibre 4401 compare to the Genuine?
A: It is the closest replica movement to date. All gears are functional (not decorative), and it features the “Flyback” function allowing you to reset the chronograph without stopping it first, just like the Gen.
